The grade 3’s completed two science experiments so far this week. The first involved creating paper bridges and the second focused on how distance changes the amount of force needed to lift a load with a lever. Ask your child to provide you with the details about the experiments, including what they learned, what they found easy and what was most challenging. Tomorrow we will be doing some activities to learn about balance and centers of gravity. New vocabulary includes fulcrum, load, force, stability, structure, effort, structure.
