Class jobs are an important part of our classroom community. They provide an opportunity to learn and demonstrate responsibility along with a range of other skills. For example our Pizza job requires organizational skills and is a great example of real life math application. Being the Weather Reporter helps students learn standard units of measurement (Celcius, millimetres, centimetres), determine important information and develop oral presentation skills. The pictures below show some jobs in action. Have a look at the job chart and ask your child to explain what each job entails. The picture of Super Mario on the SMART Board is unrelated – that was part of our in class Daily Physical Activity (D.P.A.) this week. Click on an image to see the full version. Have a great weekend!
